It shouldn't be difficult to make such an implement. You would only need a high pressure pump, a pulley to increase the RPM ( as most PTOs only run at 540 ) and a frame to put the pump and its accesories, it should prefreably be 3 point hydraulic mounted so you can take it anywhere you like. I have some thing similar though its not very high pressure, its a simple 6" water pump mounted on a frame with 3 pt linkage. Its used to drain low lying fields and ditches. its used sparingly but when its needed there is nothing else that will work. In case of excessive rain we can't take a directly coupled water pumping set everywhere but a tractor can go to fields connected only by dirt road which become boggy and are inaccessable in case of heavy rain.

Thankyou very much for the reply to my question on pto pumps. I think you have a good suggestion for drainig ditches, ponds etc where only tractors can go. I was hoping for a readymade pressure pump that I good buy, but it doesn't look like there is such a thing. Jerry, Fall City Wa USA ....

Jermel, How much pressure do you need? I think Northern Tool has a PTO pump ready to slip on the PTO. I have a spray rig with a Hypro roller pump that puts out up to 300 psi with a little Briggs & Stratton engine at 1200 RPM, but they have several models available, including some made specifically for tractor PTOs. I never have checked to see if they have a web site, but you could contact Hypro Corporation, 375 Fifth Avenue NW, New Brighton, MN 55112-3288, phone (612) 633-9300. Of course, I have a couple of local distributors in my area. ....

Northern sells both pumps for power washers as well as roller pumps for sprayers. My power washer from Northern includes a 13 hp Honda engine and all the items needed to construct the rest of the pump are found in the Northern catalog. Considering that a 13 hp Honda engine sells for about $800, it would seem that a person could create a 3 point-mounted power washer and possibly save some money. The concern I have would be what kind of pulley system would be required to increase the speed to that of the Honda engine running almost wide open (this was mentioned byy someone else) from a 540 rpm PTO. The roller pump that runs off my PTO that powers my sprayer doesn't have 5% of the power of the power washer. The URL for Northern Hydraulics follows: http://www.northern-online.com/
